How I Chose to Crochet the Perfect Blanket for My Friend

My inspiration and motivation to make this beautiful blanket came to me after helping my dear friend Ana to re-decorate her master bedroom. She had asked for my help in giving her master bedroom a fresh, new look. As soon as she invited me over, we began brainstorming ideas, and before long, we were off to the store to find some accent pieces that would enhance the space.

As we were wrapping up, I realized that something was missing — a cozy throw blanket for the foot of her bed. Not only would it be a great decorative accent, but it would also provide comfort on chilly evenings. I knew I had to make her something special, something that would not only blend with her décor but would also add a personal touch to the room.

Once I got home, I started brainstorming ideas for the blanket. I reflected on Ana’s tastes, the décor we picked out, and especially her beautiful accent wallpaper, which had wood color with blue and green tones.
